A HACCP system is a food safety self-control system made up of a set of procedures, based on the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. It identifies, evaluates and prevents all risks of contamination of products at a physical, chemical and biological level throughout all the processes of the production chain, establishing preventive and corrective measures for their control aimed at ensuring safety.
The IFS standard (International Featured Standards) is a standard recognized by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) that has been developed to ensure that food safety and quality requirements are met. In this way, the product specifications are met, the focus on the client and always work for a continuous improvement of the processes. The different standards are used by manufacturers and distributors around the world in order to respond to the demand for quality, transparency and efficiency resulting from globalization.
Sustainable. Wild. Certificate. The MSC Chain of Custody Standard ensures the traceability of products from MSC certified sustainable fisheries. It is the only wild-capture fisheries certification and eco-labelling program that meets best practice requirements set by both the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and ISEAL, the global association for sustainability standards.
The National Association of Manufacturers of Cod and Salted Fish, ANFABASA, aims to help promote and market internationally a competitive offer of products of the highest quality, innovative and always adapted to the market. Our effort is also focused on defining a framework of common rules that increases cooperation between our associates, allowing us to achieve sustainable growth throughout the sector.
